Pet licensing.
Unsterilized animal: $50 per animal per year.
Qualified service animal: $0 per animal per year.
Sterilized animal: $7 per animal per year.
For a sterilized animal owned by a person who is 65 years of age or older: $10 one-time fee; thereafter, the license may be renewed each year at no cost for the life of the animal.
Intact animal permit: $100 per animal per year.
Litter permit: $50 per litter.
Multiple-animal site permit: $20 per location per year.
Special permits.
Outdoor rehabilitation aviary: $10 per location per year.
Birds of prey: $10 per location per year.
Certain snakes: $15 per location per year.
Guard dog: $20 per location per year.
Hybrid animal: $100 per location per year.
Dead animal removal fee: $20 per animal per pickup.
Owner relinquish transport fee: $20 per animal per pickup.
County staff is authorized to take all administrative action necessary to implement the permit and services fees, including but not limited to public awareness campaigns, training of Animal Control Unit personnel concerning County Finance procedures relating to cash receipts and recordkeeping and the promulgation of new forms and procedures to facilitate same.
