The Doña Ana County Fire Protection Excise Tax Advisory Board is hereby created, and the attached bylaws, incorporated herein by this reference, are approved. The membership, functions, and procedures of the Fire Tax Board shall be governed by those bylaws.[1]

Within the approved fire protection excise tax budget applicable to a given fiscal year, any expenditure of $20,000 or less may be authorized by the Fire Tax Board pursuant to the bylaws, and signed by the County Manager, without the approval of this Commission, other than on appeal.
