It shall be unlawful for any person to drive
or conduct any automobile or other vehicle past any stop sign in the
City of College Park which has been or may hereafter be erected by
or under the authority contained in this chapter without bringing
such automobile or other vehicle to a full and complete stop and yielding
the right-of-way to automobiles or other vehicles so close as to create
an immediate hazard.
It shall be unlawful for any person to drive
or operate any vehicle upon the streets of the city at a rate of speed
exceeding 25 miles per hour. However, by resolution of the Mayor and
Council, a speed of greater or less than 25 miles per hour may be
established for certain streets and shall be posted as such. Vehicular
speed in any alley within the city shall not exceed 10 miles per hour.
It shall be unlawful for any person to throw
or propel or cause to be thrown or propelled any object, substance
or paper from, against or into any vehicle within the corporate limits
of the City of College Park.
It shall be unlawful to erect or post any traffic
control or parking control sign, symbol or device on any city right-of-way,
except those lawfully authorized under the provisions of this chapter.
It shall be unlawful for any individual, private
corporation or unincorporated association to dismantle, overhaul or
effect major repairs of motor vehicles on any street, sidewalk or
public property within the corporate limits of the city. Minor repairs
of a routine nature or minor emergency repairs are not within the
prohibition of this section.

The Mayor and Council may by resolution prohibit through truck
traffic and prohibit trucks from using any public way, highway or
alley that is not designated or maintained as a part or extension
of the state or federal highway system, provided that an adequate
alternate route for diverted truck traffic has been designated. It
shall be unlawful for any person to operate a through truck on any
public way that has been so designated and restricted pursuant to
the authority contained in this section.
