A. Any violation of the provisions of the Code of the
City of Hagerstown, Maryland, as adopted, and any other subsequent
amendments or ordinances shall be considered and hereby declared unlawful.
Said violations shall be and are hereby considered misdemeanors.
B. Whenever in such Code or ordinance the doing of any
act or the failure to do an act is declared to be unlawful, as set
forth in each and every ordinance referred to and as set forth in
this provision, and where no specific penalties are provided therefor,
the violator of any such provision of this Code or an ordinance shall
be punished by a fine not exceeding $1,000 or imprisonment not exceeding
six months in the county jail, or by both fine and imprisonment, in
the discretion of the court.

C. Each day any violation of any provision of this Code
or of any ordinance shall continue shall constitute a separate offense.
