Election day shall be as established in Section 305C of the Charter, which currently states that it shall be on the first Tuesday in the month of June in every even-numbered year beginning with the year 1992.

The deadline for registering to vote in any general election in the Town of Princess Anne shall be the second Tuesday before election day.
A. 
The deadline for submitting an absentee ballot application by a duly registered voter in any general election of the Town of Princess Anne shall be 12:00 noon on the day preceding election day.
B. 
The deadline for returning an absentee ballot to the Board of Supervisors of Elections via the United States Postal Service shall be 4:00 p.m. on the Wednesday following election day. Any absentee ballots returned to the Board of Supervisors of Elections via the United States Postal Service must have been placed in the United States Postal Service on or before the Monday preceding election day. The covering envelope containing the absentee ballot must have been postmarked by the United States Postal Service to indicate that it was mailed on or before the Monday preceding election day.
C. 
The deadline for returning an absentee ballot to the Board of Supervisors of Elections from a location outside of the United States via the United States Postal Service, the postal service operated by the United States Department of Defense outside the United States or the postal service of any other country shall be no later than 4:00 p.m. on the second Friday following election day. The covering envelope containing the absentee ballot must have been postmarked by one of the postal services indicated above to indicate that it was mailed on or before the Monday preceding election day. For the purpose of this deadline, "United States" includes the several states, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands but does not include American Samoa, the Canal Zone, Guam, the trust territory of the Pacific Islands, any other territory or possession of the United States, an army post office, an air force post office or a fleet post office.
D. 
The deadline for returning an absentee ballot to the Board of Supervisors of Elections by any means other than the United States Postal Service shall be no later than the closing time of the polls on election day.
