A. Residential
zoning districts. No person, firm or corporation shall at any time
place, put, pile, station or leave standing or stationed upon any
of the sidewalks or alleys of the residential zoning districts in
the Town of Princess Anne, between the hours of sunset and sunrise
or for a total of no more than two hours between sunrise and sunset,
any goods, wares, merchandise, building materials, display signs,
crates, boxes, chattels, or fences. Motor vehicles, trailers or parts
thereof, which shall obstruct the free passage of pedestrians or vehicles,
are prohibited at all times. Persons, firms or corporations shall
comply with all requirements of Town, state, and federal law regarding
free passage of pedestrians and vehicles on sidewalks and alleys in
residential districts.
B. Commercial
and industrial zoning districts. No person, firm or corporation shall
at any time place or allow to remain in or upon or over any sidewalk
or alley in a commercial or industrial zoning district of the Town
of Princess Anne any goods, wares, merchandise, building materials,
display signs, crates, boxes, chattels, fences, or motor vehicles,
trailers or parts thereof, which shall obstruct the free passage along
and upon the sidewalk or alley and which make the sidewalk or alley
hazardous to the public health or safety. Persons, firms or corporations
shall comply with all requirements of Town, state, and federal law
regarding free passage of pedestrians and vehicles on sidewalks and
alleys in commercial and industrial zoning districts.
Nothing in this article shall prevent the parking
of automobiles or motor vehicles duly equipped with such registration
card and license plates according to the provisions and restrictions
of this Code now existing or that may hereafter be enacted.
A violation of this article shall be declared to be a municipal infraction and shall be subject to a penalty as provided in Chapter
1, General Provisions, §
1-8 of this Code.
