A. 
The grantee's transmission and distribution system, poles, wires and appurtenances shall be located, erected and maintained so that none of them shall endanger or interfere with the lives of persons or interfere with any improvements the town may deem proper to make or hinder unnecessarily or obstruct the free use of the streets, alleys, bridges or other public property.
B. 
Construction and maintenance of the cable television facilities, including house connections, shall be in accordance with the provisions of the National Electrical Safety Code, prepared by the National Bureau of Standards, the National Electrical Code of the National Board of Fire Underwriters and such applicable ordinances and regulations of the Town of Princess Anne affecting electrical installations which may be presently in effect or may be enacted by the President and Commissioners of Princess Anne.
C. 
Installation and house drop hardware shall be uniform throughout the town, except that the grantee shall be free to change its hardware and installation procedure as the art progresses.
A. 
In all phases of maintenance and operation of its cable television facilities the grantee shall proceed so as to cause the least possible inconvenience to the general public.
B. 
Any opening or obstruction in the streets or other public places made by the grantee in the course of its operations shall be guarded and protected at all times by the placement of adequate barriers, fences or boarding, the bounds of which shall be clearly designated in a manner sufficient to provide notice of the possible hazards.
A. 
Whenever the grantee shall take up or disturb any pavement, sidewalk or other improvement of any street, avenue, alley or other public place, the same shall be replaced and the surface restored in as good condition as before entry within 48 hours after completion of the grantee's work; provided, however, that where conditions prohibit prompt restoration or replacement of the public way, the grantee's time for restoration shall be extended automatically for an reasonable period of time to complete such restoration.
B. 
Upon failure of the grantee to make such restoration as required by Subsection A of this section or upon the grantee's delay of more than 24 hours in the continuation of a restoration begun (except where conditions prohibit prompt continuation), the town may cause the proper restoration to be made, including the removal of excess dirt, and the expense of the same shall be paid by the grantee upon demand of the town.
C. 
The grantee shall comply with any and all rules and regulations which the town or the Somerset County Sanitary District, Inc., has made or may make applying to the public generally with reference to excavation in streets and other public places.
The grantee shall maintain its attachments on poles in such manner that they will not interfere with the use of such poles by the town or other authorized persons or corporations.

The grantee shall have the right to prescribe reasonable service rules and regulations for the conduct of its business not inconsistent with the provisions of this chapter, and a copy of such service rules and regulations shall be kept on file at all times with the Town Bookkeeper.
B. 
The grantee shall submit, upon request, to the President and Commissioners of Princess Anne its proposed service agreement between the grantee and its subscribers.
C. 
The grantee shall make all cable services distributed over the system available to all persons within the franchise area who request service. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the grantee shall only be required to extend cable services to those areas where the density of homes meets or exceeds 30 homes per cable mile from the existing distribution system.
D. 
The service agreement shall provide for the continuity of service to customers of the grantee at all hours during which television programs are available through the facilities of the grantee.
E. 
The grantee shall not install service without the subscriber's written approval.
The grantee shall provide a minimum channel capacity of 55 channels available to its customers at any one time.
The quality of reception of cable television service by subscribers shall conform to all the requirements of the Federal Communications Commission.
A. 
The grantee shall distribute in color all television signals which it receives in color.
B. 
The grantee shall maintain its service in accordance with such reasonable standards regarding uniformity of transmission, noise levels and channel signal voltages as regulated by the Federal Communications Commission.
C. 
The grantee shall provide to the President and Commissioners, upon request, written reports of the grantee's annual proof of performance tests conducted pursuant to Federal Communications Commission standards and requirements.
