Town of Princess Anne, MD Article III Termination of Franchise

§ A166-14 Right to revoke franchise.

If the grantee or its successors or assigns shall fail to comply with any of the provisions of this franchise as described and defined in this chapter or defaults in any of its obligations (except for causes beyond the reasonable control of the grantee as determined by the President and Commissioners) and shall fail, within 30 days after written notice from the town, to correct such default or noncompliance or, in the event that such default or noncompliance cannot be cured within 30 days, the grantee fails to commence curing such default or noncompliance within such thirty-day period, the President and Commissioners shall have the right to revoke this franchise and all rights of the grantee hereunder.

§ A166-15 Removal of facilities.

Upon termination of this franchise, the grantee shall remove its posts, poles, television transmission and distribution system and other appurtenances from the streets, lanes, sidewalks, highways, alleys, bridges and other public places in the Town of Princess Anne and shall restore such streets, lanes, sidewalks, highways, alleys, bridges and other public places to their original condition within 270 days.
