All vending machines shall conform to the following requirements:
A. 
Only one vending machine on each tax parcel is permitted within 20 feet of the public right-of-way as measured from the private property line. Such vending machine shall be no larger than 54 cubic feet. A business license must be secured for a vending machine located within 20 feet of the public right-of-way.
B. 
All vending machines located outside of a building shall be limited to a total illuminated area, including buttons, not exceeding two square feet.
C. 
Only beverages, and no other food or merchandise, shall be dispensed from vending machines.
D. 
No vending machine shall be located so that it obstructs the display windows or ingress or egress areas of any premises.
A. 
Any person or corporation, whether as owner, lessee, agent or employee, who shall violate any of the provisions of this chapter or who fails to comply with any regulation shall be guilty of a violation.
B. 
The Code Enforcement Officer shall have the authority to issue a citation to property owners who are in violation of this chapter; any such person or corporation, whether as owner, lessee, agent or employee, who shall violate, disobey, omit, neglect, or refuse to act in compliance with local law shall be deemed guilty of a separate offense for each day of such violation. Where the person committing such violation is a partnership, association or corporation, the principal executive officer, partner, agent, manager or employee may be considered to be the "person" for the purpose of this chapter.
A. 
A violation of this chapter is hereby declared to be an offense punishable by a fine not exceeding $350, for each day of such violation or imprisonment for a period not to exceed 30 days, or both, for conviction of a first offense.
B. 
Conviction of a second or subsequent offense shall be punishable by a fine of not less than $700, or imprisonment for a period not to exceed 30 days and revocation of the license to do business in the Village of Lake George.
This chapter shall take effect immediately upon the filing of the local law with the Secretary of State.
