The following fee schedule shall apply to witnessing services provided by the Board of Health under Chapter
171, Sewage Disposal Systems, Individual, and Chapter
176, Water Supply.
A. Provision of witness service for up to two hours (minimum
service charge): $75.
B. Provision of witness service for more than two hours
up to eight hours in one workday: $175.
C. Provision of witness service in excess of eight hours in one workday or outside of the workday defined in §
149-2, for each hour or fraction thereof: $35.
D. Surcharge for witnessing services provided during Saturdays
or on legal holidays observed by the municipal offices of East Amwell Township:
$280.
E. Provision of witness services for field work provided
by a contracted engineer on single or multiple lots by a single witness:

An eight-hour workday is defined as the time span from 8:00 a.m. to
4:00 p.m. locally prevailing time.
A. Witnessing fees due for the witnessing of well tests are in addition to the application fee promulgated under Chapter
176, Water Supply, and are payable to East Amwell Township at the time of application for a well permit.
B. Witnessing fees for the witnessing of field work under Chapter
171, Sewage Disposal Systems, Individual, are payable to East Amwell Township by the applicant at least two days before the testing.
