[HISTORY: Adopted by the Mayor and Council
of the Borough of Hamburg 2-3-1992, as amended through 4-3-1995. Subsequent amendments noted where applicable.]
The Mayor and Council of the Borough of Hamburg
deem it necessary to impose a charge for checks that are issued to
the Borough of Hamburg, the Hamburg Borough Board of Public Works
and/or any other municipal agency of the Borough of Hamburg, which
checks are returned to the Borough as uncollectible.

There shall be a charge of $25 per check or
other written instrument which is issued to the Borough of Hamburg,
the Hamburg Borough Board of Public Works and/or any other municipal
agency of the Borough of Hamburg, which checks are returned to the
Borough as uncollectible either for insufficient funds or any other
reason.
