[HISTORY: Adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Cazenovia 1-20-1965 by L.L. No. 1-1965 (Ch. 7 of the 1965 Code). Amendments noted where applicable.]
As used in this chapter, the following terms shall have the meanings indicated:
CLERK
Refers to the Clerk of the Board of Trustees and Village of Cazenovia, New York.
MAYOR
Refers to the Mayor of the Board of Trustees.
PERSON
Includes any individual, firm, copartnership or corporation or other entity capable of being sued.
VILLAGE
The Village of Cazenovia, New York.
All motorboats and boats with outboard motors are prohibited from operating in Cazenovia Lake within 325 feet from the shoreline, from the northwest corner of the dike (or outlet by Cazenovia Lake) as it enters the lake in the Village to a point 500 feet north 3° east.
Any violation of this chapter shall be punishable by a maximum fine of $250 or by imprisonment for not more than 15 days, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
