No policeman shall, in the course of his employment, exercise any authority
as a police officer of the city beyond the boundaries of the city, except:
A. When following in hot pursuit a person or persons who
have committed a crime, offense or violation within the limits of the county
and in counties immediately adjoining the county.
B. When specifically authorized by the Chief
of Police to undertake the particular duty which will require the police officer
to operate beyond the territorial limits, provided that authority so exercised
is directly or incidentally related to the authority so granted the policeman.
