This chapter shall be known and may be cited
as the “Dickinson Township Parks and Recreation Board Ordinance.”
The Board of Supervisors finds that the establishment
of a Parks and Recreation Board is highly desirable to promote the
health, safety and welfare of its residents and the general public.
The Board furthers finds that the assistance and counsel of a Parks
and Recreation Board would be beneficial in developing a plan for
the provision of recreation areas and facilities, in proposing modifications
to said plan from time to time, and in providing for the general recreational
needs of the Township.
[Amended 6-21-2004 by Ord. No. 2004-3; 5-17-2010 by Ord. No. 2010-04; 5-18-2015 by Ord. No. 2015-03]
