The powers granted to the Mayor of the Village of Pleasantville by § 209-m of the General Municipal Law of the State of New York relating to the requesting and granting of police assistance from and to other local governments are hereby delegated to the Chief of Police.
The term "Chief of Police" as used herein shall include any police officer in command of the police force of the Village of Pleasantville during the absence, illness or disability of the Chief of Police, or any person who is authorized to exercise the powers of the Chief of Police in emergency situations.

The Village Board of Trustees authorizes the Mayor to execute an agreement by and between the Village of Pleasantville and Westchester County pursuant to § 209-m of the General Municipal Law.
