It shall be unlawful for any person to deposit or place leaves, grass,
plant or bush clippings or tree limbs upon any public street, highway or right-of-way
within the Village of Kings Point.
It shall be the responsibility of every owner of a lot
or parcel of land in the Village of Kings Point which abuts on a public street,
highway or right-of-way to maintain the nonroadway section of such public
street, highway or right-of-way abutting such owner's lot or parcel free and
clear of any and all accumulations of leaves, grass, plant and bush clippings
and tree limbs; and heavy undergrowth and the accumulation of plant growth
which are unsightly, noxious or detrimental to health shall be eliminated
or removed; and hedges and shrubs shall be kept pruned or trimmed; and grass
shall not be permitted to exceed six inches in height.
As used herein, the words "nonroadway section of a public
street, highway or right-of-way" shall mean that section of a public street,
highway or right-of-way which is between the edge of the roadway pavement
thereon and the property line of the lot or parcel of land which abuts such
public street, highway or right-of-way.[1]
