The fiscal officer of the Town of Livonia shall be the Supervisor.
The records access officers shall be:
A. The Town Supervisor, for access to payrolls and such
other material that pertains to the office of the Supervisor.
B. The Town Clerk, for access to minutes and proceedings
of meetings, bids and such other material which pertains to the office of
the Town Clerk.
The locations for public access to town records will be the records
access officers' residences or the Town Clerk's office, Town Hall, 35 Commercial
Street, Livonia, New York.
Public access to records may be had by appointment Monday through Friday
between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., with the exception of Wednesday,
when the hours shall be between 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 noon.
A fee as set forth from time to time by resolution of the Town Board
will be charged, or such nominal fee which meets the state law, for all copies
furnished of town records, payable to the Town Clerk of the Town of Livonia.
The records access officers may deny the applicant's request, and, in
turn, the applicant may appeal, at which time the Supervisor and the Town
Board will review said applicant's appeal.

The Records Retention and Disposition Schedule MU-1, issued pursuant
to Article 57-A of the Arts and Cultural Affairs Law and containing legal
minimum retention periods for municipal government records, is hereby adopted
for use by all municipal officers in disposing of municipal government records
listed therein.
In accordance with Article 57-A:
A. Only those records will be disposed of that are described
in Records Retention and Disposition Schedule MU-1 after they have met the
minimum retention period prescribed therein.
B. Only those records will be disposed of that do not have
sufficient administrative, fiscal, legal or historical value to merit retention
beyond established time periods.
