It shall be unlawful for any person without the consent of the owners
or occupants to enter upon lands whereupon any field crops, vegetables, fruits,
flowers or plants are cultivated with intent to take, suffer, injure or destroy
anything there growing or grown, and it shall be unlawful for any person,
directly or indirectly, to do, suffer or permit any act or thing which will
impede, interfere with or injure the growth of any such field crops, vegetables,
fruits, flowers or plants or to take or injure such field crops, vegetables,
fruits, flowers or plants after maturity.
Any person committing an offense against any provision of this article
shall be guilty of a violation punishable as follows: by imprisonment for
a term not exceeding 15 days or by a fine not exceeding $250, or by both such
fine and imprisonment. The continuation of an offense against the provisions
of this article shall constitute, for each day the offense is continued, a
separate and distinct offense hereunder.
