No owner, occupant or tenant of residential,
educational, religious, commercial or industrial properties situated
in the Borough of Oceanport shall connect or maintain the connection
or permit to be connected or permit the maintenance of the connection
of any sump pumps, roof leaders, roof drains, swimming pools, ornamental
ponds, water-cooled refrigeration, air-conditioning units, fire sprinkler
systems and any other similar devices with the Northeast Monmouth
County Regional Sewer Authority's sanitary sewer system.
All existing connections, direct or indirect, to the sanitary sewer system as stated in §
306-7 shall be disconnected and physically cut off no later than 120 days from the adoption of this article.
Any person who violates the provisions of this article shall be subject to a penalty as set forth in Chapter
1, §
1-15, General penalty. A separate offense shall be deemed committed on each day during or on which a violation occurs or continues.
