[Amended 1-3-2000 by Ord. No. 442]
Any person who shall violate any of the provisions of the Sewers and Sewage Disposal Ordinance[1] and/or the Sewer Rate Ordinance[2] or who shall fail to comply with any notice issued thereunder or who shall fail to perform any work in conformity with all specifications and requirements authorized thereby shall be guilty of a violation of such ordinance, and for every such violation, upon conviction thereof before a District Justice or other proper authority, shall be sentenced to pay a fine of not more than $1,000, plus costs of prosecution. Each day's violation of any of the provisions of such ordinances shall constitute a separate violation; and provided, further, prosecution of a violator and imposition of a penalty under this section shall not preclude the application of any remedy to enforce compliance with any provision of such ordinances nor any other legal steps taken to accomplish the same, including and without limitation, termination of water service to the premises in violation during the time such violation continues.
