B.
Amendments. The following sections of the IFC 2018 are hereby amended
as follows:
(1)
Section 103.2 Appointment. The appointed Fire Marshal
and Assistant Fire Marshal are hereby established as the authorized
representatives of the North Coventry Township Police Department and/or
North Coventry Township Code Enforcement Office as the duly authorized
representatives to enforce the provisions of this Code. The designated
enforcement officer of this Code is hereafter referred to as the "Code
Official." The Code as hereby adopted shall also be enforced by the
North Coventry Township Police who shall be authorized to issue parking
tickets and/or summons in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth
of Pennsylvania in order to enforce Fire Code regulations established
under the Code. Further, the authorized enforcement agents herein
shall have the authority to tow vehicles away at the expense of the
owners of such vehicles if said vehicles are parked in violation of
fire lane restrictions duly established in accordance with this chapter.
