This chapter shall be known and entitled "English and Metric Conversion
Ordinance of the Borough of Emsworth."
In all prior ordinances of the Borough of Emsworth where the English
system is expressed, a conversion shall be made to be expressed in the metric
system as to length, area, volume, capacity, weight and temperature.
Henceforth, from the date of the adoption of this chapter, any and all
ordinances, bids, etc., of the Borough of Emsworth expressing measurements
in length, area, volume, capacity, weight and temperature shall be expressed
both in the English system and in the metric system.
In order to express the proper measurements in the English system and
in the metric system, the Borough of Emsworth adopts the following English
and metric conversions as set forth hereinbelow:
