Pursuant to the provisions of Public Act 494 of the January 1971 session of the General Assembly,[1] the Registrars of Voters of the Town of Haddam shall, at the next succeeding regular election for such office and thereafter, be elected for a term of four years from the first Wednesday following the first Monday of January succeeding their election.

Pursuant to Section 4-10 of the Charter of the Town of Haddam, there shall be two Registrars of Voters in and for each of the voting districts within the Town of Haddam, one from each political party.
