Whenever it shall be necessary to execute any deed conveying land or any other instrument required to carry into effect any vote of the Town, the same shall be executed by the Treasurer in behalf of the Town unless otherwise provided by law or by vote of the Town.
The Treasurer and Cemetery Committee shall have authority to accept in behalf of the Town any and all gifts or bequests for the perpetual care of cemetery lots without submitting same to the vote of the Town. If the Treasurer and Cemetery Committee decline to accept any such gift or bequest, the same shall be submitted to the Town at the next Town Meeting following their refusal.
