A. 
The terms of the office of two Justices of the Peace of the Town of Sand Lake, now in office, terminate the 31st day of December 1955.
B. 
From and after the 31st day of December 1955, there shall be but two Justices of the Peace for the Town of Sand Lake. The term of office for a Justice of the Peace of the Town of Sand Lake shall be four years.[1]

A. 
On the first day of January 1956, pursuant to § 88 of the Town Law as amended, there shall be four Council members for the Town of Sand Lake.[1]

B. 
Pursuant to § 88 of the Town Law, two Council members shall be elected at the next election to take place November 8, 1955, for a term of four years.

A. 
No person shall be eligible to hold an elective office in the Town of Sand Lake while at the same time holding any elective office in the County of Rensselaer, New York, or the State of New York.
B. 
This qualification shall be in addition to, but not in substitution of, any other qualification to hold a Town of Sand Lake elective office required by any state or local law.
C. 
This chapter shall become effective immediately upon filing the same with the New York State Secretary of State.
