A Planning Commission shall be established in the Borough of Eddystone, consisting of five members appointed by the Borough Council. The Planning Commission shall have such powers and duties as shall be provided by the Pennsylvania Municipalities Planning Code,[1] as amended, supplemented and in effect.

The members of the Planning Commission shall select their own Chairman and Secretary and select all other necessary officers, to serve for a period of one year and, with the approval of the Borough Council, may employ such persons as may be needed. Such Commission shall have power to adopt rules and regulations for the conduct of all business within its jurisdiction.
The members of the Planning Commission are hereby appointed to the Zoning Commission.
