A certain document, three copies of which are on file in the office
of the Township of Lawrence Secretary's keeper of records, Lawrence Township,
being marked and designated as the "International Fire Code," including Appendix
chapters, 2000 Edition, as published by the International Code Council, be
and is hereby adopted as the code of the Township of Lawrence, Clearfield
County, Pennsylvania, for regulating and governing the safeguarding of life
and property from fire and explosion hazards arising from the storage, handling
and use of hazardous substances, materials and devices, and from conditions
hazardous to life or property in the occupancy of buildings and premises in
the Township of Lawrence and providing for the issuance of permits for hazardous
uses or operations; and each and all of the regulations, provisions, conditions
and terms of such International Fire Code, 2000 Edition, published by the
International Code Council, on file in the office of the Township of Lawrence
are hereby referred to, adopted and made a part hereof as if fully set out
in this chapter.
The following sections are hereby revised:
A. Section 101.1. (page 1, line 2) Insert: Lawrence Township
Municipality.
B. Section 109.3. (page 11, line 6) Insert: summary offense;
(line 12) insert: $1,000; (line 13) 10 days.
C. Section 111.4. (page 12, line 10) Insert: ($50); ($1,000).
The limits referred to in certain sections of the 2000 International
Fire Code are hereby established as follows:
A. Section 3204.3.1.1 (page 254, line 14): Limits in which
the storage of flammable cryogenic fluids in stationary containers is prohibited
are according to Pennsylvania and federal regulations.
B. Section 3404.2.9.5.2 (Page 283, line 19): Limits in which
the storage of Class I and Class II liquids in aboveground tanks outside of
buildings is prohibited are according to Pennsylvania and federal regulations.
C. Section 3406.2.4.4 (page 303, line 10): Limits in which
the storage of Class I and Class II liquids in aboveground tanks is prohibited
are according to Pennsylvania and federal regulations.
D. Section 3804.2 (page 324, line 10): Limits in which the
storage of liquefied petroleum gas is restricted for the protection of heavily
populated or congested areas are according to Pennsylvania and federal regulations.
