[HISTORY: Adopted by the Board of Trustees
of the Village of Pomona 7-15-1980 by resolution. Amendments noted where applicable.]
The Village of Pomona hereby authorizes the
Town of Ramapo to issue licenses to any duly authorized organization
within the territorial limits of the Town of Ramapo and the Village
of Pomona for the purpose of licensing such organization to conduct
games of chance, pursuant to the authority granted in § 187
of the General Municipal Law and in accordance with and pursuant to
the Games of Chance Ordinance enacted by the Ramapo Town Board on
October 12, 1976,[1] and pursuant to the regulations of the New York State
Racing and Wagering Board.
