It shall be unlawful for anyone to operate a
motorcycle, minibike, snowmobile, or any other type of motor vehicle
on the sidewalks, footpaths, parks or property belonging to anyone
other than the operator or driver of such motor vehicle unless said
operation is upon property of another with the written permission
of said owner.
The Chief of Police, Township Manager or their
designates may authorize use of such motor vehicles when so determined
to be in the best interests of the Township.
This chapter shall not apply to the operation
of lawn-cutting equipment or snow-removal equipment.

Any person who violates any provision of §
158-1 of this chapter shall be subject to a criminal fine in an amount not to exceed $1,000, plus the costs of prosecution, including reasonable attorneys' fees. In default of payment thereof, the defendant may be sentenced to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 90 days. Enforcement of this chapter shall be by action brought before a Magisterial District Judge in the same manner provided for the enforcement of summary offenses under the Pennsylvania Rules of Criminal Procedure. The Township Solicitor may assume charge of the prosecution without the consent of the District Attorney.
