Jackson Township, York County, Pennsylvania, shall participate in and
become a signatory to the York County Municipal Police Cooperative Agreement.
A.
As a signatory municipality to the agreement, the Jackson
Township Chief of Police shall submit to the Board of Supervisors for majority
approval a list of Township police officers to be considered for selection
to the Drug Task Force.
B.
Only those officers selected both by the Board of Supervisors
and the Drug Task Force's Narcotics Operations Officers will participate in
the Drug Task Force. The Board of Supervisors may revoke an officer's selection
or participation in the Drug Task Force at any time.
As a signatory municipality to the agreement, the Jackson Township Board
of Supervisors shall appoint a representative to the Joint Police Advisory
Board. The term of such representative shall be at the sole discretion of
the Board of Supervisors.
Expenses incurred by the Township while participating in accordance
with the agreement, other than police officer's salaries, shall not be paid
for with Township moneys, but shall be paid in accordance with the agreement.
