The Village of Fair Haven will not authorize the public expense nor provide for the removal of any tree or shrub on private land.
As used in this article, the following terms shall have the meanings indicated:
TREE REMOVAL
Cutting down and/or cutting up and/or loading sections to be hauled to another site in any Village conveyance.
In the event any tree or shrub on private land poses a threat to public health or safety or may/does restrict access to public thoroughfare, the owner(s) will be notified and given a time limit to remove that tree or shrub. Should the owner(s) be unwilling to do so, they will be subject to all penalties provided in the Village ordinance for maintaining a public hazard.
