This chapter shall be known and may be cited as "The Township
of Darlington Mobile Home Park Ordinance."
The Board of Supervisors of the Township of
Darlington, County of Beaver and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania,
do ordain that the purpose for the adoption of this chapter is to
assure sites suitable for human habitation; to lessen congestion in
the roads, streets and highways; to secure safety from fire, panic,
flooding, pollution and other dangers; and to promote the health and
the general welfare of the people located in mobile home parks as
well as the people at large; to provide adequate light and air; to
prevent the overcrowding of land; to avoid undue congestion of population;
to facilitate the adequate provision of transportation, water facilities,
sewage facilities, schools, parks and other public requirements; and
to encourage the establishment and maintenance of a reasonable community
standard of physical environment for the harmonious development of
mobile home parks located in the Township of Darlington.
