The purpose of this article is to regulate parking along Kingtown Road.
B.
Kingtown Road between Pittstown Road and the County Bridge has become a location for street parking for properties along Pittstown Road that do not otherwise have sufficient off-street parking for their purposes. Due to the narrow nature of Kingtown Road, it has been determined that emergency equipment is unable to make safe turns to and from Pittstown Road. In order to promote the general health, safety and welfare of the residents of the Township and other persons who utilize the Pittstown Road and Kingtown Road, the regulation of parking is necessary.
Parking on Kingtown Road shall be prohibited as follows: On both sides of Kingtown Road from its intersection with Pittstown Road southerly to the intersection with the County Bridge.
The Township Engineer shall be caused to place such signs as shall be necessary to effectuate the provisions herein.
Any person who violates this article shall be subject to fines and penalties as prescribed by law.
