§ 168-1 Title and purpose.

A. 
The title of this chapter is the "Village of Superior Comprehensive Plan Ordinance."
B. 
The purpose of this chapter is for the Village of Superior to lawfully adopt a Comprehensive Plan as required under § 66.1001(4)(c), Wis. Stats.

§ 168-2 Authority.

The Village Board of the Village of Superior has authority to appoint a Village Plan commission under §§ 60.62(4) and 62.23(1), Wis. Stats., and, under § 66.1001(4), Wis. Stats., to adopt this chapter. The Comprehensive Plan of the Village of Superior must be in compliance with § 66.1001(4)(c), Wis. Stats., in order for the Village Board to adopt this chapter.

§ 168-3 Authority to adopt and publish plan.

The Village Board of the Village of Superior by this chapter, adopted on proper notice with a quorum and roll call vote by a majority of the Village Board present and voting, provides the authority for the Village of Superior to adopt its Comprehensive Plan under § 66.1001(4), Wis. Stats., and provides the authority for the Village Board to order its publication.

§ 168-4 Public participation.

The Village Board of the Village of Superior has adopted written procedures designed to foster public participation in every stage of the preparation of a Comprehensive Plan as required by § 66.1001(4)(a), Wis. Stats.

§ 168-5 Village Plan Commission recommendation.

The Plan Commission of the Village of Superior by a majority vote of the entire Commission, recorded in its official minutes, has adopted a resolution recommending to the Village Board the adoption of the Village of Superior Comprehensive Plan, which contains all of the elements specified in § 66.1001(2), Wis. Stats.

§ 168-6 Public hearing.

The Village of Superior has held at least one public hearing on this chapter, with notice in compliance with the requirements of § 66.1001(4)(d), Wis. Stats.

§ 168-7 Adoption of plan.

The Village Board of the Village of Superior, by the enactment of this chapter, formally adopts the document entitled "Village of Superior Comprehensive Plan Ordinance" pursuant to § 66.1001(4)(c), Wis. Stats.
