[HISTORY: Adopted by the Town Board of the Town of Coxsackie 8-14-1971. Amendments
noted where applicable.]
There is hereby created a Department to be known as the "Town
of Coxsackie Police Department."
Said Department is to consist of one Police Chief and as many
patrolmen as the Town Board appoints from time to time, and that their
qualifications, hours and salaries are to be fixed by the Town Board
within the limits established by applicable law.
This chapter is to take effect on September 14, 1971, and any
unexpended balance of moneys budgeted for Town Constables as of that
date shall be transferred to a new item designated "Town of Coxsackie
Police Department."
