The current schedule of rates for water service is on file at
the Municipal Authority of the Township.

A deposit, in an amount established from time to time by resolution,
is required of all tenants.

No water shall be provided for internal or external use to any residential, commercial, industrial, agricultural, recreational, governmental or public building or structure of any kind which is hereafter constructed or erected and in which plumbing, water piping or water fixtures are to be installed, unless the plumbing, water piping and other water-using fixtures installed therein conform to the requirements and standards of §
288-7 of this article. The provisions of this article shall apply to any such new building or structure for which a building permit is issued or would be required to be issued on or after the date of adoption of this article.
Customers shall be encouraged not to permit any water furnished
by the Municipal Authority of the Township of Robinson to run to waste
in any gutter or other impervious surface.
Each resident of Robinson Township is urged to install devices
which reduce the quantity of water required to flush toilets and reduce
the flow rates of showers and faucets.
Any person may apply to the Municipal Authority of the Township
of Robinson (MATR) for an exception to the terms of this article,
which exception may be granted at the discretion of the Board of MATR
only upon proof that some other device, system or procedure will save
as much or more water as those set forth herein.
The Board of Commissioners may, from time to time, modify, add
to or remove from the standards and restrictions herein.
Authorized employees of the Township of Robinson and the Municipal
Authority of the Township of Robinson, identified by proper badges,
shall have access to the customer's premises at all reasonable
hours for the purpose of inspecting and testing all plumbing and water-conservation
devices.

A. Any person found to be violating any provision of this article shall
be served by the Municipal Authority of the Township of Robinson with
written notice stating the nature of the violation and providing a
reasonable time limit for the satisfactory correction thereof. The
offender shall, within the period of time stated in such notice, permanently
cease all violations.
B. Any person who shall continue any violation beyond the time limit
provided for in the above notification shall be guilty of a summary
offense and, upon conviction thereof, shall be fined in an amount
not exceeding $600 and costs and, in default of payment thereof, shall
be subject to imprisonment for a term not to exceed 30 days. Each
day in which any such violation shall continue shall be deemed a separate
offense.
C. Any person violating any of the provisions of this article shall
become liable to the Township of Robinson or the Municipal Authority
of the Township of Robinson for any expense, loss or damage occasioned
either by the Township of Robinson or he Municipal Authority of the
Township of Robinson by reason of such violation.
