Before the demolition or removal of any building is begun, written
application for a permit shall be made to the Building Inspector by
the owner or his/her agent, containing a statement of the facts, the
ownership and the location.
In demolishing any building, story after story shall be completely
removed. No materials shall be left upon the floor of any building
in the course of demolition, but the bricks, timber and parts of each
story shall be lowered to the ground immediately upon displacement.
The materials to be removed shall be properly wet to allay the dust
incident to this removal.
After the building is demolished or removed, the premises from
which it is removed shall be cleared of all flammable material and
no open cellar or well shall remain on the premises from which the
building was removed.
Before removing any building, a permit shall be obtained from
the building inspector specifying the time within which the removal
shall be made. Every application for permission to move any building
shall state the place from and the place to which it is proposed to
move the building and the streets, if any, through which it is proposed
to carry same.
