Renewals will not be issued if valid complaints, as verified
by the City's Animal Control Officer, have not been rectified.

Anyone wishing to establish a business for the sale of honey produced within hives in the City of Glens Falls shall first obtain a special business license for the sale of honey from the City Clerk. The license fee shall be $100 per year and shall be in addition to the permit specified in the foregoing §
91-13.
It shall be unlawful to establish a business for the sale of
honey produced within hives of bees in areas of the City zoned R-1
and R-1A, and commercial licenses shall not be issued in those areas
under any circumstances. No variance or exception from this prohibition
shall be granted by the City.
All City residents who have established beehives on their property prior to January 1, 1984, shall be exempt for a period of five years from the permit requirement set forth in the foregoing §
91-13. All other provisions of this article shall apply to those individuals upon the effective date of this article.

A. Any person, firm or corporation violating any of the provisions of
this article shall, upon conviction thereof, be subject to a fine
of not more than $250 or to imprisonment for a term not to exceed
15 days, or both, for each offense, and a separate offense shall be
deemed committed on each day during or on which the violation occurs
or continues.
B. In addition to the penalties provided in Subsection
A, violation of the provisions of this article shall result in the revocation of the violator's permit.
