§ H-101 Streets.

Introductory Note: In addition to formal action as to particular streets in the Borough, the following action was by motion of Council:
1. 
a. Notre Dame Place was made a Borough road on August 9, 1937.
2. 
b. Colbert Lane was accepted as a Borough thoroughfare on December 10, 1945.
3. 
c. Edgewood Road, from Colbert Lane to its termination at the John A. Wilson property, was accepted as a Borough thoroughfare on December 10, 1945.
8-1. Designating the streets of the Borough of Fox Chapel, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. [Ord. 15, 12/9/1935] (Section 1 of this ordinance declared the following streets to be public streets of the Borough, insofar as they lie within the limits of the Borough: Old Mill Road, Squaw Run Road, Squaw Run Drive, Highland Road, Fairview Road, Guyasuta Road, Pasadena Drive, E. Waldheim Road, W. Waldheim Road, Maple Drive, Hunt Road, Field Club Road, N. Virginia Avenue, Valley Drive and Highview Road; Section 2 provided that all other streets, alleys or thoroughfares within the limits of the Borough are declared not to be public streets, and are private streets, alleys or thoroughfares only; Section 3 was repealed by Ordinance 187.)

Untitled resolution accepting Buckingham Road and Buckingham Place, as described in the Plan of Fox Chapel Farms Plan No. 3, as recorded in the Recorder's Office of Allegheny County in Plan Book, Volume 52, pages 66 and 67, on October 19, 1953, as public streets of the Borough. [Resolution 12/14/1953] (This was a conditional acceptance of these roads; for the final acceptance, see Section 8-12, below.)
8-10. Untitled resolution declaring Poplar Drive, as described in the Squaw Run Manor Plan, as recorded in the Recorder's Office of Allegheny County, Plan Book Volume 50, pages 137 and 138, on February 25, 1953, as a public street of the Borough. [Resolution 12/14/1953] (This resolution rescinded action taken by Council on November 9, 1953, adding Poplar Drive to the list of Borough streets.)
8-11. Authorizing and directing the paving of Grandview Drive North, between Pasadena Drive and Guyasuta Road, Guyasuta Road, between Grandview Drive North and Buckingham Road, and Buckingham Road, between Guyasuta Road and the existing pavement on Buckingham Road in the Borough of Fox Chapel, and providing for the payment of costs thereof by the Borough and by the owners of the real estate abutting or bounding thereon. 8-12. Untitled resolution declaring Buckingham Road and Buckingham Place, as described and appearing in the Plan of Fox Chapel Farms No. 3, as recorded in the Recorder's Office of Allegheny County in Plan Book, Volume 52, pages 66 and 67, on October 19, 1953, as public streets of the Borough. 8-15. Untitled resolution declaring Edgewood Road, between the east line of Hampton Road and the north line of Edgewood Road at its intersection with Colbert Lane, to be a public street of the Borough. [Resolution 9, 9/16/1957]
8-16. Declaring Spring House Lane to be a public road of the Borough of Fox Chapel as laid out and constructed in accordance with plans on file with the Borough of Fox Chapel. [Ord. 174, 11/18/1957] (This ordinance accepted Spring House Lane from Fox Chapel Road to its easterly terminus at a point 41 feet west of the east Borough line, at a point common to the east line Fox Chapel Hills Plan No. 2 and the east line of lands of Margaret F. Donnelly; it released from dedication for road purposes land lying between the eastern end of Spring House Lane and the east lines of Fox Chapel Hills Plan No. 2 and the east lines of lands of Margaret F. Donnelly.)
