A. No person or persons, firm or corporation shall set up, maintain
or establish within the corporate limits of the Town of Galena, Maryland,
any camp or temporary or permanent place of abode in trailers, house
trailers, tents, wagons, vans, automobiles or trucks without first
having obtained a permit from the Town Clerk-Treasurer.
B. Before issuing any such permit, the Clerk-Treasurer shall receive
from the applicant a fee in an amount as set from time to time by
the Mayor and Council.

C. Said permit shall be valid for a period of no more than five days,
and then only for use on private property.
D. Any such permits issued pursuant to the terms of this section shall
not thereafter be renewed.

A. Any person or persons, firm or corporation who shall set up, maintain
or establish any such camp, trailer, tent, wagon, van, automobile
or truck in violation of this chapter shall be guilty of a municipal
infraction and shall be subject to a fine of $25 per day for each
day the camp shall be maintained, or temporary place of abode occupied.
B. Any person living or sleeping at or within any such camp or temporary
place of abode as defined herein and in violation of this chapter
shall be guilty of a municipal infraction and subject to a fine of
$10 per day.
