A. Hours of
operation: from sunrise to sunset daily.

B. Pavilion
will be rented on a first-come basis. It may be reserved by calling
the Town Clerk-Treasurer at 410-648-5151 during normal business hours,
9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Citizens of Galena have
preference.

C. The cost
to rent picnic pavilions/facilities for a day shall be set by the
Town Council from time to time by resolution. After the park has been
inspected by the Public Works Supervisor or other Town employee, agent,
or official, and has been determined to be in satisfactory condition,
50% of the rental fee will be returned to the renter, and 50% of the
rental fee will be retained by the Town for administration, maintenance,
and upkeep of the park and equipment therein. If the park is not in
a satisfactory condition, 100% of the rental fee shall be retained
by the Town.

D. Anyone
who walks their dog(s) in the park area must have them on a leash
and under their control at all time, and they will be responsible
for picking up and disposing of their dog feces in a suitable container
outside of the park area.
E. All children
under the age of 10 must be accompanied by an adult and be under their
supervision.
F. It will
be the responsibility of the party or parties renting the pavilion
and facilities to assure that they are cleaned prior to departure
from the park area.
G. No alcoholic
beverages will be allowed in the park without written permission of
the Mayor and Council.
H. The only
vehicles allowed into the immediate park area will be those on Town
business unless authorized by the Mayor or an authorized representative.
I. No bicycles,
go-carts, motorized, or any similar type vehicles will be allowed
in the park. However, bicycles may be in designated bicycle racks
or the rack area. (The only other exception to this will be ADA manual
or motorized equipment.)

A. Anyone
violating any of these rules and regulations will be subject to a
fine as a municipal infraction of $50 or suspension from the use of
the park for 30 days to one year, or both.
B. Anyone caught abusing or misusing any of the equipment shall be subject to disciplinary action and/or penalties as indicated in Subsection
A above. The equipment purchased is marked for age groups to use, and anyone caught abusing or misusing any of the equipment as a result of violating the posted age restrictions shall be subject to disciplinary action and/or penalties as indicated in Subsection
A above.
