All building contractors who perform work within the Township of Berlin shall be required to pay to the Township an annual fee as set forth in Chapter 156, Fees. Upon compliance with this provision, the Township shall issue a permit to the building contractor. Such permit shall apply, but not be limited to, new construction, home remodeling and building additions. At the time of payment of the fee to the Township, a copy of the builder's liability insurance policy shall also be filed with the office of the Township Clerk.
