A. Lots shall be numbered in each block, starting with Lot Number 1
and continuing in a reasonable schematic method.
B. Side lot lines shall be at right angles to straight street lines
or radial to curved street lines.
C. The subdividing of the land shall be such as to provide, by means
of a public street, each lot with a satisfactory access to an existing
public street.
D. Through lots or double frontage lots shall be avoided when possible.
Residential lots shall be separated from major thoroughfares by a
landscape buffer strip not less than ten (10) feet in width.
E. Areas subject to flooding, and lots deemed by the City to be uninhabitable,
shall not be platted for residential occupancy, nor for such other
uses as may increase danger to life, health or property or aggravate
the flood hazard, but such land shall be set aside for open spaces
or for such uses as shall not be endangered by periodical or occasional
inundation or shall not produce unsatisfactory living conditions.

A. No lot shall have less area or width than is required by zoning regulations
applying to the area in which it is located.
B. Corner lots shall be platted at least fifteen (15) feet wider than
the minimum otherwise required.
C. Lots abutting on a pedestrian walkway shall be treated as corner
lots.
D. Lots abutting a drainagecourse, channel, stream or lake shall have
additional depth or width as required to assure building sites not
subject to flooding.
