The Board of Aldermen of the City of Pine Lawn, Missouri, shall meet in regular session in the City Hall at 6:00 P.M. on the second (2nd) Monday of each month, unless otherwise designated.

Special meetings may be called by the Mayor of the City of Pine Lawn, Missouri, or upon inability or refusal of the Mayor to call a meeting and upon request of two (2) members of the Board of Aldermen, the President of the Board of Aldermen may call a special meeting. A notice of special meeting shall be delivered to the Mayor and each member of the Board of Aldermen at least twenty-four (24) hours in advance of said meeting. If the notice cannot be personally delivered, notice of meeting may be delivered at least twenty-four (24) hours in advance to a member of the household of the Board member, who is at least fourteen (14) years of age. The notice of special meeting shall contain a statement of the purpose of said meeting. Only that business which necessitates the calling of the special meeting of the Board of Aldermen shall be discussed at the special meeting.

At the hour appointed, the Mayor, or in his/her absence the Acting President of the Board of Aldermen, shall call the Board to order, the Clerk shall call the roll of members and announce whether or not a quorum is present. A majority of the members elected to the Board shall constitute a quorum. If a quorum not be present, a smaller number may lawfully adjourn the meeting from day to day until a quorum is present.
