No person shall operate a privately owned ambulance as an emergency
vehicle in the City unless annually authorized by the County.

A. No
person shall operate a privately owned wrecker or tow truck as an
authorized emergency vehicle unless annually authorized by the County.
B. Application
shall be made to the County submitting the name, street and number,
post office, make, year, body style, engine number, license number,
place of business and satisfactory evidence that applicant operates
and owns a wrecker or tow truck engaged in the wrecker and towing
business.

A. No
Police Officer, Sheriff, Deputy Sheriff, Constable, Deputy Constable,
Coroner or Deputy Coroner shall operate a privately owned vehicle
as an emergency vehicle unless annually authorized by the County.
B. Application
shall be made to the County submitting the name, street and number,
post office, make, year, body style, engine number and license number,
together with a letter of authority from his/her superior showing
the necessity of using the vehicle in his/her line of duty.
