All permits issued by North Lebanon Township or its authorized agents shall expire one year from the date of issuance, unless the permit specifies otherwise.

If the work that is directed and/or authorized under the permit is not completed within the time specified herein or within the time specified in the permit, the permit shall expire. In such case, the holder of the permit shall be required to renew the permit prior to initiating and completing any of the work as authorized and/or directed by the permit and the permit holder shall be required to pay the applicable fees and costs for reissuance of the permit. Upon reissuance, the new time period for the permit shall be determined by the Township.

If the permit holder fails to complete the work as authorized and/or directed by the permit, the Township may take any or all of the following actions:
A. 
Refuse to reissue the permit.
B. 
Set the time for which the work shall be completed.
C. 
Upon failure or refusal to complete the work by the permit holder, Township may require the permit holder to remove all or any portion of the work that has been completed.
D. 
File an action against the permit holder by a civil suit in equity requesting the Court to require the permit holder to complete the work or requiring the permit holder to remove all or any portion of the work that has been completed.
E. 
Place a lien against the applicable real estate for the amount that is necessary to have the work as authorized and/or directed in the permit to be completed or removed.
F. 
File an action under the § 13-604 of this Part.

Any person who violates this Part, including any amendment to this Part, shall upon being found liable therefor in a civil enforcement proceeding commenced by North Lebanon Township in a determination made by the applicable District Magistrate, to pay a fine of not less than $100 nor more than $600 to the Township, plus all court costs, including reasonable attorney's fees incurred by the Township. A separate offense shall arise for each day or a portion thereof in which the violation is found to exist. If the violator fails to pay the amount of the judgment after the time for appealing the final judgment has expired, North Lebanon Township may enforce the judgment pursuant to the applicable Rules of Civil Procedure.
