The Town Board finds that there are no streets or highways in the Town of Woodbury which are uncongested and safe for snowmobile travel on the shoulders thereof; therefore, snowmobile travel on the shoulders of town streets and highways is hereby prohibited, except for the crossing of such streets or highways as authorized under § 8-0303 of the Conservation Law.[1]

Any violation of this chapter which constitutes a violation of Article 8 of the Conservation Law shall be punishable as therein provided by a fine of not less than $5 nor more than $100.[2]
