GENERAL REFERENCES

Streets and sidewalks — See Ch. 269.
The Town Board finds that there are no streets or highways in the Town
of Woodbury which are uncongested and safe for snowmobile travel on the shoulders
thereof; therefore, snowmobile travel on the shoulders of town streets and
highways is hereby prohibited, except for the crossing of such streets or
highways as authorized under § 8-0303 of the Conservation Law.[1]

§ 92, effective June 5, 1973. For the current statutory provisions
pertaining to snowmobiles, consult Title D, Snowmobiles, of the Parks, Recreation
and Historic Preservation Law (§ 21.01 et seq.).
Any violation of this chapter which constitutes a violation of Article
8 of the Conservation Law shall be punishable as therein provided by a fine
of not less than $5 nor more than $100.[2]
