Except where permitted under Local Zoning Ordinance,[1] no person, corporation or association of persons shall keep goats,
pigs, swine, sheep, cattle, horses, poultry or fowl of any kind, pigeons,
rabbits or guinea pigs in this municipality without first obtaining a permit
from the Board of Health.
Said permit shall be subject to revocation for violation of any sanitary
standards prescribed by this Board.
No goats, pigs, swine, sheep, cattle, horses, poultry or fowl of any
kind, pigeons, rabbits or guinea pigs shall be allowed to run at large, but
shall be housed in a suitable house or coop with an enclosed runway; such
house or coop and runway shall be kept thoroughly clean and unobjectionable
at all times. No part of said house, coop or runway shall be nearer than 150
feet to a building occupied by a human being except that of the owner.
No live poultry of any kind, pigeons, rabbits, hares or guinea pigs
shall be kept or maintained in any dwelling house or part thereof or in any
tenement house or part thereof.
