Trucks, or commercial vehicles, tractors or
tractor-trailer combinations, are hereby excluded from the following
highways within this Town:

A.
No person shall operate a truck, commercial vehicle,
tractor or tractor-trailer combination having a total gross weight
in excess of 10,000 pounds upon Kattleville Road in the Town of Chenango,
Broome County, New York, between the intersection of said Kattleville
Road with River Road at its south end and the intersection of said
Kattleville Road with New York State Route 12 at its north end, and
River Road between its intersection with Kattleville Road on its south
end and its intersection with New York State Route No. 12 at its north
end.
B.
Parsons Road.

(1)
No person shall operate a truck, commercial vehicle,
tractor or tractor-trailer combination having a total gross weight
in excess of 10,000 pounds upon Parsons Road in the Town of Chenango,
Broome County, New York, between its intersection with the boundary
line of the Town of Barker on the west and its intersection with Mix
Road and Knapp Hill Road on the east.

This subsection shall not be construed to prevent
the delivery or pickup of merchandise or other personal property along
said Parsons Road from which such vehicles and combinations are otherwise
excluded. This subsection shall not be construed to exclude school
buses, Fire Department vehicles and equipment, and trucks and equipment
operated under the authority of any state, county or Town highway
department.

Signs giving notice that vehicles having a total gross
weight of 10,000 pounds are excluded from said Parsons Road as described
hereinabove shall be posted as follows: at the intersection of Knapp
Hill Road, Mix Road and Parsons Road and at the intersection of Parsons
Road with the Town of Barker boundary line.
This article shall not be construed to prevent
the delivery or pickup of merchandise or other property along the
said Kattleville and River Roads from which such vehicles and combinations
are otherwise excluded. This article shall not be construed to exclude
school buses, Fire Department vehicles and equipment, and trucks and
equipment operated under the authority of any state, county or Town
highway department.
Signs giving notice that vehicles having a total
weight in excess of 10,000 pounds are excluded from said Kattleville
Road and River Road as described herein shall be posted as follows:
at the intersection of said Kattleville Road on the south with River
Road; at the intersection of Kattleville Road with New York State
Route No. 12A; at the intersection of Thomas Road with said Kattleville
Road; at the intersection of Prentice Road with said Kattleville Road;
at the intersection of Airport Road with said Kattleville Road; and
at the intersection of River Road at its north end with said Kattleville
Road.
