It shall be unlawful to operate any type of
motor-driven vehicle which is not registered with the State of New
Jersey or which is not capable, due to its construction or manufacture,
to be registered with the State of New Jersey upon any highway or
other area open to public vehicular traffic within the Township of
Brick.

It shall be unlawful for any person to allow
any other person to operate any type of motor-driven vehicle which
is not registered with the State of New Jersey or which is not capable,
due to its construction or manufacture, to be registered with the
State of New Jersey upon any highway or other area open to public
vehicular traffic within the Township of Brick.
For the purpose of this chapter, it shall be
presumed that any juvenile operating a vehicle as described hereinabove,
which vehicle is owned by such driver or a member of his family living
with said juvenile, is presumed to have driven such vehicle with the
knowledge and consent of his or her parent or guardian with whom he
or she lives.
This chapter shall not apply to police and emergency
vehicles.

Any violation of the provisions of this chapter
shall, upon conviction, be punishable by a fine of up to $100.
